A stalwart of the Denver art scene, Pirate: Contemporary Art has been hosting some of Colorado’s most adventurous displays of creativity for more than 30 years. The current exhibition “Fervor” consists of the newest works from Janelle W. Anderson, a Denver painter with a fondness for using layers of mylar to add depth to her art.  The work has a feeling of transparency, both in the literal sense in the way that light is able to flow through the clear material and in the feeling that the work is an unfiltered glimpse into the artist’s consciousness.  The show will be on display until August 3rd.
