It takes a pretty adventurous gallery to bring us a show of butt drawings, and luckily for the visitors of Denver’s Santa Fe Arts District just such a place exists: Boxcar Gallery.  Not to overwhelm viewers with the rock and roll derrières drawn by Mandy Hazell, the show was paired with the abstracted nature paintings of Bryony Lovelette. Now I am sure this pairing might sound surprising at first, but when viewed together the art really worked together and did an excellent job of centering the viewer, providing the perfect amount of pop culture energy and introspective thought provocation.
