Local artist Daniel Lind brings his twisted and amusing vision of the apocalypse–“The End Is Near”–to Crimson Hilt this Second Saturday. Inspired by ancient Sumerian legends of gods and angels tempted by the women of Earth, the artist depicts–in vivid and violent form–a future overrun with deranged, saw-toothed, blade-wielding automatons.

Hailing from Maui, NYC, and San Francisco, Daniel evinces an informed passion for graffiti culture, appropriately utilizing wheat paste, stencil, spray paint, and acrylic techniques to communicate his colorful chimera. Previously displaying his work on the streets, the switch to canvas has allowed Daniel to “be able to sit down and have some peace of mind,” ironic given his subject matter. On display throughout the month of March.

Come experience Daniel Lind’s apocalyptic abandon at Crimson Hilt this Second Saturday March 8th 8-11 pm.
